To provide a battery monitoring device that can prepare a charging plan appropriately while suppressing power consumption and charge a battery at appropriate timing according to change in a driving situation.SOLUTION: Charging plan preparing means 142 of a battery monitoring device 140 instructs travel route preparing means 133 for charging to simplify information on a travel route in which estimated residual electricity of a battery 104 is equal to or above a predetermined value on the basis of information on a plurality of travel routes in a section on a travel route for charging from a present position acquired from the travel route preparing means 133 for charging to a destination location via a charging station and vehicle information acquired from vehicle information collecting means 141. Thereafter, the plan preparing means 142 prepares a charging plan corresponding to the time of charging the battery 104, on the basis of the simplified travel route for charging acquired from the travel route preparing means 133 for charging.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 1

    【課題】運転状況変化に応じて、消費電力を抑制しつつ適確に充電計画を作成でき、適切なタイミングでバッテリを充電できるバッテリ監視装置を提供する。【解決手段】バッテリ監視装置140の充電計画作成手段142は、充電用走行ルート作成手段133から取得した現在地から充電ステーションを経由する目的地までの充電用走行ルート上の区間における複数の走行ルートの情報、及び車両情報収集手段141から取得した車両情報に基づいて、推定されるバッテリ104の電力残量が予め決められた値以上となる走行ルートの情報を簡素化処理するように、充電用走行ルート作成手段133へ指示する。この後、計画作成手段142は、充電用走行ルート作成手段133から取得した簡素化処理後の充電用走行ルートに基づいて、バッテリ104の充電を行う時刻に該当する充電計画を作成する。【選択図】図1
