To suppress a water flow separation from a blade surface of a propeller blade.SOLUTION: A ship propeller comprises a propeller boss, multiple propeller blades extending radially outward from the propeller boss, and multiple short blades extending radially outward from the propeller boss between the adjacent two blades. The radially outer edge of the short blade is located at a position equal to or more than 15% of a distance from an outer peripheral surface of the propeller boss to the radially outer edge of the propeller blade, and at a position equal to or less than 60% of a distance from the axis of rotation of the propeller boss to the radially outer edge of the propeller blade.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 2
