To provide a sound absorption member and an automobile interior article, which have excellent noise absorption characteristics, compared to conventional ones.SOLUTION: A sound absorption member comprises: a plurality of first recesses 26; and a plurality of second recesses 27. The first recesses 26 and the second recesses 27 have different opening shapes, and also have different sizes of internal spaces. A reverberation room method sound absorption coefficient corresponding to JIS A 1409:1998 has a maximum peak in the range of 1000 Hz to 4000 Hz in a 1/3 octave band central frequency, and the reverberation room method sound absorption coefficient of the maximum peak is 0.75 or more.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 2

    【課題】本発明は、従来に比べて、騒音の吸音特性が良好な吸音部材及び自動車内装品を提供することを目的とする。【解決手段】複数の第1凹部26と、複数の第2凹部27を有し、第1凹部26と第2凹部27は、開口形状が相違し、かつ内部空間の大きさも相違しており、JIS A 1409:1998に準ずる残響室法吸音率が1/3オクターブバンド中央周波数における1000Hz〜4000Hzの範囲において最大ピークを有し、最大ピークの残響室法吸音率が0.75以上である構成とする。【選択図】図2
