To provide a car navigation device destination setting system that correctly sets an arbitrary destination to a destination of the car navigation device installed on a driver seat side of a paid passenger transport vehicle.SOLUTION: A taxi (a paid passenger transport vehicle) 10 comprises: display means that overlaps an icon on a map displaying based on map information, and displays the icon overlapped thereon; destination selection means that displays the icon at a site serving a desired destination on the map, and determines a display location on the map of the icon as the destination; a mobile information terminal device 2 that has a terminal side communication unit transmitting destination location information expressing a location of the destination; a device side communication unit 4 that is installed on a passenger seat side of the taxi, and connects to a car navigation device; and contactless near field communication means that transmits the destination location information from the terminal side communication unit of the mobile information terminal device to the device side communication unit. The mobile information terminal device is caused to get close to the device side communication unit, and the destination location information is set to the destination of the car navigation device on the basis of the destination location information to be input from the device side communication unit.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 1
