To reduce a sense of discomfort that a driver feels while causing a charge rate displayed on the display unit of a vehicle to follow a charge rate estimated by a battery voltage.SOLUTION: When a second charge rate estimated by the voltage of a battery B is smaller than a first charge rate estimated by a current amount flowing in the battery B at startup of a vehicle Ve, a new first charge rate displayed on a display unit 61 is calculated by the equation: new first charge rate = first charge rate - (first correction value × decreased portion of estimated first charge rate); the first correction value which is larger than 1 is increased when the accelerator pedal opening of the vehicle Ve or a discharge current flowing from the battery B to a load Lo becomes large, and the first correction value is reduced when the accelerator pedal opening or the discharge current becomes small.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 1
