To provide a straddling type seat capable of reducing vibration and impact applied to buttocks of a seated person.SOLUTION: A straddling type seat 1 where a seated person is seated in a state of being straddled includes a seat frame 10, and a seat surface member 20 mounted to the seat frame 10. The seat surface member 20 has a lower side base material 22 opposed to an upper surface 12 of the seat frame 10, an upper side base material 21 provided at an upper side of the lower side base material 22, and a first cushioning member 23 provided between the upper side base material 21 and the lower side base material 22.
