To make it possible to more easily couple a traction vehicle and a trailing vehicle.SOLUTION: A coupling device 10 provided on a traction vehicle is coupled to a connection arm 30 provided on a trailing vehicle. The coupling device 10 comprises a first engaging pin 1 which is so provided as to be movable in a vertical direction, and a stopper member 2 which is so provided as to be movable in a direction crossing the vertical direction. The engaging pin 1 is moved between a connection position at which the pin enters in an engaging hole 32 formed at a tip 31 of the connection arm 30 and a non-connection position at which the pin is withdrawn from the engaging hole 32. On the other hand, the stopper member 2 is moved between a holding position at which the stopper member contacts the engaging pin 1 and holds the engaging pin 1 at the non-connection position and a separated position at which the stopper member is pushed by the connection arm 30 and is therefore separated from the engaging pin 1. The coupling device 10 comprises a first energization component 3 which energizes the engaging pin 1 toward the connection position, and a second energization component 4 which energizes the stopper member 2 toward the holding position.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 3
