To provide a mounting structure for a fuel tank, which has excellent flame resistance.SOLUTION: A mounting structure 1 for a fuel tank comprises: a fixing piece 23 formed integrally with a resin tank body 20; a cylindrical metal fitting 3 having a cylinder body 30 extending through the fixing piece 23, and also having a flange portion 31 disposed on a lower surface 233 of the fixing piece 23; and a fastening member (bolt 4) that is inserted through the cylindrical metal fitting 3, thus fixing the tank body 20 to a vehicle body. The flange portion 31 includes: an interposing cylindrical portion 32 abutting the lower surface 233 of the fixing piece 23; and an outside flange portion 33 disposed so as to leave a predetermined gap g between the outside flange portion and the lower surface 233 of the fixing piece 23. The outside flange portion 33, which has an outer diameter Rlarge enough to protrude outward of an outer periphery of the interposing cylindrical portion 32, covers an area of the fixing piece 23, the area being near the cylinder body 30 of the cylindrical metal fitting 3. The cylindrical metal fitting 3 including the flange portion 31 having a stepped shape like this can prevent the mounting state of the fuel tank 2 from loosening when being exposed to flame from below a vehicle, thus providing excellent flame resistance.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 1

    【課題】耐炎性に優れる燃料タンクの取付構造を提供する。【解決手段】燃料タンクの取付構造1は、樹脂製のタンク本体20に一体成形される固定片23と、固定片23を貫通する筒本体30と固定片23の下面233に配置されるフランジ部31とを有する筒金具3と、筒金具3に挿通されて車体にタンク本体20を固定する締結部材(ボルト4)とを備える。フランジ部31は、固定片23の下面233に当接される介在筒部32と、固定片23の下面233に対して所定の隙間gをあけて配置される外側フランジ部33とを有する。外側フランジ部33は、介在筒部32の外周よりも外方に突出するほどの大きな外径R33を有し、固定片23における筒金具3の筒本体30の近傍領域を覆う。このような段差形状のフランジ部31を備える筒金具3によって、車両下方から炎に曝された場合に燃料タンク2の取付状態が緩むことを防止でき、耐炎性に優れる。【選択図】図1
