To provide an outer panel stiffening structure allowing for reduction in weight and saving in space of an outer panel used in a vehicle body for an automobile, and to provide a stiffened outer panel.SOLUTION: A stiffened fender 100 is provided that comprises a fender 1 formed and used in a vehicle body for an automobile, a stiffening member 10 adhered to the fender 1, and an adhesion part 2 which adheres the fender 1 and the stiffening member 10 to each other. The stiffening member 10 comprises: a plurality of flange parts 11 arrayed along a set direction with a space, and adhered to the fender 1 via the adhesion part 2; and a projection part 12 which connects adjacent flange parts 11 along the set direction to each other, and has a height of 2.0 mm or higher and 5.0 mm or lower, and a pitch of 20 mm or larger and 50 mm or smaller when viewed along the set direction.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 1
