To provide a movable body capable of satisfying both a wide detection angle range of an obstacle sensor and a degree of freedom of an installation height of the obstacle sensor.SOLUTION: A movable body 1 is configured such that upper structures (first transport housing 30 and second transport housing 40) are arranged on lower structures (drive housing 10 and power housing 20), and includes a wide area sensor 61 that detects surrounding objects by emitting light toward the surroundings; and a sensor housing portion 60 sandwiched between an upper surface of the lower structure and a lower surface of the upper structure.
