To optimize, according to a vehicle speed, a flow rate for cooling.SOLUTION: A cooling system 29 for an embodiment comprises: a rotary electric machine 1; a pump 30 that increases/decreases a flow rate of a refrigerant according to the number of revolutions of the rotary electric machine 1 and feeds the refrigerant under pressure; a first refrigerant passage 31 extending from the pump 30 to the rotary electric machine 1 and guides the refrigerant to the rotary electric machine 1; a second refrigerant passage 32 that branches from the first refrigerant passage 31 and guides the refrigerant to the pump 30; a pressure adjustment valve 40 provided in the second refrigerant passage 32; a first orifice 41 provided further downstream in a flowing direction of the refrigerant than the pressure adjustment valve 40 in the second refrigerant passage 32; a third refrigerant passage 33 that branches in the second refrigerant passage 32 and between the pressure adjustment valve 40 and the first orifice 41 and joins it further downstream in the flowing direction of the refrigerant than the branching position of the second refrigerant passage 32, in the first refrigerant passage 31; and a switching valve 50 provided in the third refrigerant passage 33 and allowing flow of the refrigerant to the first refrigerant passage 31 when receiving pressure equal to or greater than a threshold.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 1
