To inhibit water intrusion into a splice part from a relatively thin electric-wire extension part side which extends from the splice part, by using a structure that is as small and light as possible.SOLUTION: A water intrusion inhibiting structure 1 for a splice part includes a splice part 20 in which core wires 11, 15 of a plurality of electric wires 10, 14 are connected together, a first electric-wire extension part 30 which extends from one end of the splice part 20, and a second electric-wire extension part 40 which extends from the other end of the splice part 20 and which is thicker than the first electric-wire extension part 30. A first sheet 50 covers, on the one end side of the splice part 20, a region that includes a portion reaching the splice part 20 from a coating 12 of the electric wire 10 included in the first electric-wire extension part 30, and extends to a point in front of coatings 12, 16 of the electric wires 10, 14 included in the second electric-wire extension part 40. A second sheet 60 overlaps the first sheet 50, and covers, on the other end side of the splice part 20, a region including a portion reaching the splice part 20 from the coatings 12, 16 of the electric wires 10, 14 included in the second electric-wire extension part 40.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 1
