To provide a battery temperature control device capable of shortening charging time of a battery, by restraining deterioration of the battery.SOLUTION: A battery temperature control device 1 has a battery 22, and is used in a vehicle capable of traveling by a motor generator 20. The battery temperature control device 1 includes a battery temperature detector 31, a charging state estimation part 32, a charge determination part 55 and a battery temperature control section 38. The battery temperature detector 31 can detect a battery temperature Tb. The charging state estimation part 32 can estimate battery residual capacity SOC. The charge determination part 55 determines that it is required to charge the battery 22 when the battery residual capacity SOC is a first charge threshold SOC_th1 or less, and when the battery residual capacity SOC exceeds the first charge threshold SOC_th1, determines that it is not required to charge the battery 22. The battery temperature control section 38 controls the battery temperature Tb from a moment in time when he charge determination part 55 determines that it is required to charge the battery 22 until a charger is connected with the vehicle.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 2

    【課題】電池の劣化を抑制し、電池の充電時間を短縮できる電池温度制御装置を提供する。【解決手段】電池温度制御装置1は、バッテリ22を有し、モータジェネレータ20により走行可能な車両に用いられる。電池温度制御装置1は、電池温度検出部31、充電状態推定部32、充電判定部55および電池温度制御部38を備える。電池温度検出部31は、電池温度Tbを検出可能である。充電状態推定部32は、電池残容量SOCを推定可能である。充電判定部55は、電池残容量SOCが第1充電閾値SOC_th1以下であるとき、バッテリ22を充電する必要があると判定し、電池残容量SOCが第1充電閾値SOC_th1を超えるとき、バッテリ22を充電する必要がないと判定する。電池温度制御部38は、充電判定部55がバッテリ22を充電する必要があると判定したときから充電器が車両に接続されるまで、電池温度Tbを制御する。【選択図】図2
