To improve the passenger's safety of a link member which comes in and out of an opening edge in an airtightness holding device of a side slide door with a link member that rotates by the operation of a cylinder device and presses the side slide door.SOLUTION: An airtightness holding device 10 of a side slide door comprises: a cylinder device 5 which is installed in a peripheral part 4 of a gateway 3 that is opened on a side structure 1 of a railway vehicle S and is opened and closed by the side slide door 2, and is operated by receiving hydraulic pressure; and a link member 7 which rotates in the inward/outward direction of the vehicle by the operation of the cylinder device and pushes the side slide door existing in a closed position 2a toward a close contact position 2b where the side slide door is closely contacted with an airtight packing member 61 fitted to the gateway. The link member comprises a roller member 8 which projects/recedes from an open edge 41 that is positioned on the vehicle outer side of the peripheral part and presses the side slide door, wherein a front restricted part 74 is formed which extends from a tip 71 to which the roller member is fitted toward a rotation center part 72 and projects toward a front R1 in the rotating direction from an outer peripheral surface of the roller member.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 1
