To provide a route guiding device and a route guiding method for reducing a processing load relating to warning about a dead-end pathway.SOLUTION: A route guiding device (1) comprises: map data (21) composed of a plurality of nodes indicating points on a pathway and a plurality of links linking between the nodes, and including dead-end information (22) indicating whether or not the link connected to each node is a dead-end pathway; a storage unit (20) for storing registered point information (25) indicating a registered point for which notification of dead-end warning is unnecessary; a detection unit (30) for detecting the current location of a moving vehicle; a control unit (10) for setting an expected route running along the travel direction of the moving vehicle on the basis of the current location and determining whether or not it is necessary to notify dead-end warning on the basis of dead-end information within the expected route; and notification units (50, 60) for notifying dead-end warning. The control unit (10) controls the notification unit so that when a node leading to the dead-end pathway exists within a prescribed area that includes the registered point, dead-end warning is not notified.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 1

    【課題】行止通路の警告に関する処理負荷を低減する経路案内装置及び経路案内方法を提供する。【解決手段】経路案内装置(1)は、通路上の地点を示す複数のノードとノード間を結ぶ複数のリンクとにより構成され、各ノードに接続されているリンクが行止通路であるか否かを示す行止情報(22)を含む地図データ(21)と、行止警告の通知を不要とする登録地点を示す登録地点情報(25)を格納する記憶部(20)と、移動体の現在地を検出する検出部(30)と、現在地に基づいて移動体の進行方向に沿った予想経路を設定し、予想経路内の行止情報に基づいて行止警告の通知の要否を判断する制御部(10)と、行止警告を通知する通知部(50,60)と、を備え、制御部(10)は、行止通路に繋がるノードが登録地点を含む所定領域内にあれば行止警告の通知を行わないように、通知部を制御する。【選択図】図1
