To spread an instrument panel structure in a longer direction while maintaining a texture when a user contacts the structure.SOLUTION: An instrument panel structure 20 comprises a base material 30 of which both end parts in a longe direction are bent to a lower surface side, thereby forming a lateral surface part 16; a foam material 34 which covers a surface of the base material 30; and a skin 32 which covers a surface of the foam material. The structure further comprises a seal rib 40 which is so provided as to project to an outer side in the longer direction from the lateral surface part 16 at an arrangement position with a prescribed space to the lower surface side from a bending position of the base material 30, and is joined to an end 33 of the skin 32. Further, the structure comprises a widening rib 42 which is so provided as to project to the outer side in the longer direction from the lateral surface part 16 on an upper surface side with respect to an arrangement position of the seal rib 40 of the lateral surface part 16, and is covered with the foam material 34.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 3

    【課題】インストルメントパネル構造において、ユーザが触ったときの質感を維持しながら、インストルメントパネルを長手方向に広げることである。【解決手段】インストルメントパネル構造20は、長手方向の両端部が下面側に向かって折れ曲がって側面部16を形成する基材30と、基材30の表面を覆う発泡材34と、発泡材の表面を覆う表皮32を備える。そして、基材30の折れ曲がり位置から下面側に所定の間隔を空けた配置位置において、側面部16から長手方向の外側に突出して設けられ、表皮32の端部33が接合されるシールリブ40を備える。また、側面部16のシールリブ40の配置位置よりも上面側において、側面部16から長手方向の外側に突出して設けられ、発泡材34に覆われる拡幅リブ42を備える。【選択図】図3
