To easily draw a lead wire drawn from a terminal portion into a vehicle body in a foreign matter detection sensor that detects a foreign matter being caught between the peripheral edge of an opening and an opening/closing body.SOLUTION: A foreign matter detection sensor includes a long hollow outer skin with insulation and elasticity, a plurality of electrode wires arranged apart from each other inside the outer skin, and a terminal portion that is provided at an end portion in the longitudinal direction of the outer cover and covers a connecting portion of lead wires respectively connected to the plurality of electrode wires and pulls out the lead wires from the bottom surface portion to the outside. The terminal portion has a plurality of guide portions that guide the wiring directions of the lead wires pulled out from the bottom surface portion in different directions around the bottom surface portion.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 4

    【課題】開口部の周縁部と開閉体との間への異物の挟み込みを検知する異物検知センサにおいて、端末部から引き出されるリード線の車体内部への引き込みを容易にする。【解決手段】異物検知センサは、絶縁性および弾性を有する長尺中空の外皮と、外皮の内部で互いに離間して配置される複数の電極線と、外皮の長手方向における端部に設けられ複数の電極線にそれぞれ連結されたリード線の連結部分を覆うと共にリード線を底面部から外部へ引き出す端末部とを備える。端末部は、底面部の周囲に、底面部から引き出されたリード線の配線方向をそれぞれ異なる方向にガイドする複数のガイド部を有する。【選択図】図4
