To provide a technology that allows a pressure-sensitive pinch detection switch to operate properly even when cushioning is enhanced.SOLUTION: A pinch detection switch 1 includes one tubular pressure-sensitive detection member 5 having a plurality of spaced-apart electrode wires, and a cover member 4 covering the pressure-sensitive detection member. The cover member 4 includes a base portion 4-1, a hollow portion 6, and a deforming portion 4-2 provided on the base portion 4-1 so as to cover the hollow portion 6 when the cover member 4 is viewed in cross-section. The pressure-sensitive detection member 5 is disposed on the deforming portion 4-2, a receiving portion 9 for receiving the pressure-sensitive detection member 5 is disposed on the base portion 4-1, and the receiving portion 9 is formed with at least two receiving surfaces 9-1 and 9-3 with respect to the pressure-sensitive detection member 5 at a position facing the pressure-sensitive detection member 5.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 1

    【課題】クッション性を高めても、感圧タイプの挟み込み検知スイッチを適切に動作させることができる技術を提供する。【解決手段】挟み込み検知スイッチ1は、離間された複数の電極線を有する管状の1つの感圧検知部材5と、感圧検知部材を覆うカバー部材4とを備える。カバー部材4は、カバー部材4を断面視で見たとき、ベース部4−1と、中空部6と、中空部6を覆うように、ベース部4−1に設けられた変形部4−2とを備え、変形部4−2に感圧検知部材5が配置され、ベース部4−1に感圧検知部材5を受ける受け部9が配置され、受け部9には、感圧検知部材5に対向する位置であって、感圧検知部材5に対して少なくとも2面の受け面9−1、9−3が形成されている。【選択図】図1
