To make it possible to intuitively recognize a residual output capacity of a battery by an operator.SOLUTION: An electric vehicle, on which a pedal control device 10 is mounted, is driven by use of electric power stored in a battery 20. An accelerator pedal 24, which is provided on the electric vehicle, can be operated between an initial depression position and a depression limit position. A residual output estimation part 34 estimates a residual output capacity of the battery 20. An initial position change part 36 changes the initial depression position of the accelerator pedal 24, which the electric vehicle 10 comprises, on the basis of the residual output capacity of the battery 20. For example, a pedal move part 28A, which moves an initial depression position P1 of the accelerator pedal 24, is provided, and the initial position change part 36 causes the initial depression position P1 of the accelerator pedal 24 to further approach a vehicle upper side as the residual output capacity is smaller.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 3
