To improve accuracy at PWM control of an emission light intensity by a light-emitting element.SOLUTION: A device for PWM control of a light-emitting element 4, comprises: a DC-DC converter 2 that supplies a voltage to the light-emitting element; a setting unit 14 that sets a control value of the PWM control in the DC-DC converter; a detector 13 that detects an actual value of a length of an ON time period in which a current flowing in the light-emitting element is relatively high; and a correction unit 14 that corrects the control value, which is set by the setting unit, so as to reduce a difference between an expectation value of the length of the ON time period corresponding to the control value and the actual value of the length of the ON time period detected by the detector, on the basis of the difference.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 1
