To obtain a rocker structure that stabilizes a bucking deformation and increases an amount of absorbed collision- energy.SOLUTION: In a lower closed cross-section 32 of a rocker 10, a lateral plate 36 is stretched in a vehicle width direction between an external wall 18 and a lower internal wall 26. The lateral plate 36 has a projection 38 and recess 40 that continuously alternate in a vehicle width direction. When a side collision load is input to the rocker 10 in the event of side collision of the vehicle, the lateral plate 36 deforms using the projection 38 and the recess 40 as an initial point of buckling deformation. By virtue of this, the lateral plate 36 is folded along a vehicle width direction and the buckling deformation is stabilized. Furthermore, a lower vertical plate 42 is stretched in a vehicle vertical direction between a lower wall part 22 and a lateral plate 36. By virtue of this, the lateral plate 36 is reinforced and load resistance improves. In this rocker 10, absorption efficiency of collision energy is increased by stabilizing bucking deformation and an amount of absorbed collision-energy can be increased by increasing load resistance.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 2

    【課題】座屈変形を安定させ、衝突エネルギの吸収量を増大させるロッカ構造を得る。【解決手段】ロッカ10の下部閉断面部32内において、外側壁18と下部内側壁26の間に横板36が車両幅方向に沿って架け渡され、横板36には凸部38と凹部40が車両幅方向に沿って連続して交互に形成されており、車両の側突時に、ロッカ10に側突荷重が入力されると、横板36は凸部38及び凹部40が座屈変形の起点となって変形する。これにより、横板36は車両幅方向に沿って折り畳まれた状態となり、座屈変形が安定する。さらに、下壁部22と横板36の間には、下縦板42が車両上下方向に沿って架け渡されている。これにより、横板36は補強され、耐荷重が上がる。したがって、当該ロッカ10では、座屈変形を安定させることで衝突エネルギの吸収効率を上げると共に、耐荷重を上げることで衝突エネルギの吸収量を上げることができる。【選択図】図2
