To provide a tire application capable of enhancing grip performance by blending a specific hydrogenated styrenic resin as a tackifier resin to a rubber component, and further a damping rubber capable of exhibiting stably damping performance excellent in a high temperature range.SOLUTION: There is provided a high molecular weight polymer composition by blending 100 pts.wt. of (A) a high molecular weight polymer component consisting of (A-1) a conjugated diene rubber and/or (A-2) a thermoplastic elastomer, and 1 to 200 pts.wt. of (B) a hydrogenated styrenic resin having weight average molecular weight (Mw) in terms of polystyrene by a GPC (gel permeation chromatograph method of 500 to 10,000.SELECTED DRAWING: None

    【課題】ゴム成分に粘着付与樹脂として、特定の水添スチレン系樹脂を配合することにより、グリップ性能を向上させることが可能なタイヤ用途、さらには、高温領域で優れ、かつ、安定した制振性能を発揮しうる制振ゴムを提供すること。【解決手段】(A)(A−1)共役ジエン系ゴムおよび/または(A−2)熱可塑性エラストマーからなる高分子重合体成分100重量部に対し、(B)GPC(ゲルパーミエーションクロマトグラフ)法のポリスチレン換算の重量平均分子量(Mw)が500〜10,000である水添スチレン系樹脂1〜200重量部を配合した高分子重合体組成物。【選択図】なし
