To provide a hinge mechanism which can suppress an increase in manufacturing manhours.SOLUTION: A hinge mechanism 1 includes: a vehicle body side hinge 10 (a structure side hinge) which has a vehicle body side upper mounting part 11a (a first mounting part) and a vehicle body side lower mounting part 11b (a second mounting part) and is installed on a vehicle body (a structure) through these vehicle body side upper mounting part 11a and the vehicle body side lower mounting part 11b; a door side hinge 20 (an opening/closing side hinge) which is arranged on a door (an opening/closing body); and a pivot part 30 which pivots the vehicle body side hinge 10 and the door side hinge 20 so as to relatively swing. The vehicle body side hinge 10 is structured of a single plate-like member. The pivot part 30 is arranged between the vehicle body side upper mounting part 11a and the vehicle body side lower mounting part 11b.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 2
