To provide an unmanned aircraft for line extension work which can be stably operated.SOLUTION: An unmanned aircraft 3 for extension of a power line to an iron tower includes a horizontal maintaining device 6 at an airframe 31 of the unmanned aircraft. The horizontal maintaining device includes a rope guide arm 16 which extends long from a tail part of the airframe to the rear side and includes a tip capable of moving up or down. A lead rope 5, in which one end is connected to the airframe and the other end is connected to a pilot rope 4 to be extended to the iron tower, is hung from the tip of the rope guide arm.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 2
