To provide a charging/discharging device that can improve convenience of a user when switch is made from an automatic mode to a manual mode.SOLUTION: The charging/discharging device includes a control unit 27 that controls a bidirectional power conversion unit 23 to perform charging, discharging, or stop of charging/discharging of a storage battery 61. The control unit 27 has a manual mode of performing charging, discharging, or stop of charging/discharging of the storage battery 61 on the basis of a user's manual operation, and an automatic mode of automatically performing charging, discharging, or stop of charging/discharging of the storage battery 61, and when the manual mode is set during an automatic operation by the automatic mode, prohibits the automatic operation by the automatic mode, and gives priority to a manual operation by the manual mode. In a case where charging/discharging of the storage battery 61 is stopped on the basis of the manual operation by the manual mode, the control unit 27 makes switch to an automatic operation by the automatic mode stored in a memory 25 that stores the automatic mode before switching to the manual mode.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 1
