To provide a remote monitoring technique capable of securing safety during autonomous traveling of an autonomous travel vehicle.SOLUTION: An autonomous travel vehicle transmits to a remote monitoring center a camera image around the vehicle that is captured by a camera, and detects an obstacle on the basis of information obtained from an autonomous sensor including the camera. In a case where the obstacle is detected, the autonomous travel vehicle is automatically stopped. In a case where the autonomous travel vehicle is automatically stopped, the remote monitoring center determines whether to resume traveling of the autonomous travel vehicle on the basis of the received camera image. In a case where the traveling of the autonomous travel vehicle is determined to be resumed, a start signal is transmitted to the autonomous travel vehicle. In a case where the start signal is received from the remote monitoring center, the autonomous travel vehicle resumes the traveling.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 2

    【課題】自律走行車両の自律走行時の安全を確保することができる遠隔監視技術を提供する。【解決手段】自律走行車両は、カメラで撮影した車両の周辺のカメラ映像を遠隔監視センターに送信する。また、カメラを含む自律センサから得られる情報に基づいて障害物を検知する。障害物が検知された場合、自律走行車両は自動停止する。遠隔監視センターは、自律走行車両が自動停止した場合、受信したカメラ映像に基づいて自律走行車両の走行を再開させてよいかどうか判断する。そして、自律走行車両の走行を再開させてよいと判断した場合には、自律走行車両に発進信号を送信する。遠隔監視センターから発進信号を受信した場合、自律走行車両は走行を再開する。【選択図】図2
