To provide an information acquisition device capable of effectively using a wireless resource.SOLUTION: An information acquisition device 2 arranged in a mobile body 1 to be autonomously moved includes: a wide area communication section 21 for performing wide area wireless communication; a narrow area communication section 22 for performing wireless communication within an area narrower than the wide area wireless communication; a determination section 23 for determining whether an own mobile body is a cluster head or a cluster member concerning a cluster constituted by multiple mobile bodies 1 that are mutually adjacent; and an information management section 24 for receiving information from an information server 3 via the wide area communication section 21 so as to preserve the information when the own mobile body is the cluster head, transmitting the preserved information to the mobile bodies 1 being the cluster members via the narrow area communication section 22 in response to a request from the mobile bodies 1 being the cluster members, requesting information managed by the information server 3 to the mobile body 1 being the cluster head when the own mobile body is the cluster member, and receiving the information from the mobile body 1 being the cluster head via the narrow area communication section 22.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 2
