To provide a technique by which a phase of a broach can be easily matched with an uneven shape of a spline hole and the uneven shape of the spline hole can be finished with high accuracy while assuring a reasonable cutting allowance, and further, to provide a technique by which a cutting surface does not become rough and it can be prevented that a large load is added to the broach, and therefore, a service life becomes shorter.SOLUTION: A wheel bearing device 1 comprises: an outer member 2 on an inner periphery of which outside rolling surfaces 2c, 2d are formed; an inner member 3 on an outer periphery of which inside rolling surfaces 3c, 3d are formed; and plural rolling elements 41 which are interposed between respective rolling surfaces 2c, 2d, 3c, 3d of the outer member 2 and the inner member 3, and has a spline hole 3b which is formed in a through hole 3h of the inner member 3. In this wheel bearing device, a guide groove 3G, in which a guide plate 8G for a finishing broach 8 passes, is formed on an inner periphery of the spline hole 3b.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 8
