To perform a pre-collision control in the case where a target detected by a target detection unit is highly likely to collide with a vehicle, and a required time for collision of the target is equal to or less than a threshold execution time.SOLUTION: A pre-collision control is performed to update a recognition position which is a position of a target used to estimate a movement direction based on a capture position which is the position of the target identified by target information, whenever target information capable of identifying the position of the target relative to the own vehicle is newly acquired. Furthermore, the pre-collision control estimates a moving direction based on a history of the recognized position, determines whether a possibility of collision is high or not based on the recognized position and the moving direction, and is executed when the possibility of collision is high and a time required for collision becomes equal to or less than a threshold execution time. The pre-collision control updates a recognition position based on a current predicted position and the capture position estimated based on the previously updated recognition position, and updates the recognition position to the capture position when the required time for collision becomes equal to or less than a first threshold switching time.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 4

    【課題】物標検出部が検出した物標が自車両と衝突する可能性が高く、且つ、物標の衝突所要時間が閾値実行時間以下となった場合衝突前制御を実施する。【解決手段】衝突前制御は、自車両に対する物標の位置を特定可能な物標情報が新たに取得される毎に、物標情報により特定される物標の位置である捕捉位置に基づいて、物標の移動方向を推定するために使用される物標の位置である認識位置を更新する。更に、衝突前制御は、認識位置の履歴に基づいて移動方向を推定し、認識位置及び移動方向に基づいて衝突可能性が高いか否かを判定し、衝突可能性が高く且つ衝突所要時間が閾値実行時間以下となったとき衝突前制御を実行する。衝突前制御は、前回更新された認識位置に基づいて推定される今回の予測位置と捕捉位置とに基づいて認識位置を更新し、衝突所要時間が第1閾値切替時間以下となった時点にて認識位置を捕捉位置に更新する。【選択図】図4
