To suppress a cover from being damaged as a neighbouring member abuts on a step part at the time of a vehicle collision when a cover which covers a side face of a case has the step part projecting outward.SOLUTION: A vehicle front-side part 90f of a cover 90 is provided with an inclined rib 112 at a corner part between a cylindrical side face part 94 as a step part and a flange part 92 as a front-side extension part, so even if a neighbouring member 120 which moves backward relatively in a case of a vehicle collision interferes with the cover 90, the neighbouring member slides on a front end of the inclined rib 112 in moving backward to cause the cover 90 to deform without being caught by the cylindrical side face part 94 to move onto the cylindrical side face part 94, thereby suppressing the cover 90 from being damaged. The plate-like inclined rib 112 can have high rigidity against loads from a vehicle front side and a lateral side, so the flange part 92 and cylindrical side face part 94 are pressed inward on the whole to suppress the cylindrical side face part 94 and neighbouring member 120 from coming into contact, thereby suitably suppressing the cover 90 from being damaged.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 5

    【課題】ケースの側面を覆うカバーが外側へ突き出す段差部を有する場合に、車両衝突時に近隣部材が段差部に当接してカバーが損傷することを抑制する。【解決手段】カバー90の車両前側部分90fには、段差部である筒状側面部94と前側延出部であるフランジ部92との角部に傾斜リブ112が設けられているため、車両衝突時に相対的に後退する近隣部材120がカバー90と干渉しても、傾斜リブ112の先端を滑るようにして後退させられ、筒状側面部94に引っ掛かることなくカバー90を変形させて筒状側面部94に乗り上げるようになり、カバー90の損傷が抑制される。板状の傾斜リブ112は車両前側や側方からの荷重に対して高い剛性が得られるため、フランジ部92や筒状側面部94が全体的に内側へ押し込まれて筒状側面部94と近隣部材120との接触が抑制され、カバー90の損傷が適切に抑制される。【選択図】図5
