To provide a vehicular control apparatus capable of accurately determining a communication failure.SOLUTION: A control apparatus includes: a grille shutter ECU 14, connected to a LIN communication line 22, for controlling driving of a grille shutter; and an engine ECU 12, connected to the LIN communication line 22, capable of communication with the grille shutter ECU 14. Further, in a case where, when a communication failure is detected, a predetermined threshold time has passed after an engine is started, with an accumulated time period, in which a detection result of a vehicular speed sensor 17 indicating equaling or exceeding a predetermined vehicular speed threshold, equaling or exceeding a predetermined accumulation threshold, and with the number of starting the vehicle equaling or exceeding a predetermined number of trips, the ECU 12 determines that the LIN communication has failed.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 2

    【課題】通信の故障を正確に判定可能な車両用制御装置の提供を目的とする。【解決手段】LIN通信線22に接続され、グリルシャッタの駆動を制御するグリルシャッタECU14と、LIN通信線22に接続されてグリルシャッタECU14との通信が可能とされ、通信の異常を検出した際に、エンジン始動後に予め定めた閾値時間以上経過し、かつ車速センサ17の検出結果が予め定めた車速閾値以上の積算時間が予め定めた積算閾値以上で、車両の始動回数が予め定めたトリップ数以上の場合に、LIN通信の故障と判定するエンジンECU12と、を備える。【選択図】図2
