To reduce impact force to a vehicle body and to stop the same at a planned water depth while saving energy, saving facility, and saving material in an underwater transporter freely descending and freely rising based on difference between weight of the vehicle body and buoyancy of the vehicle body without using force underwater.SOLUTION: Velocity variation of a vehicle body from start to stop of stop operation is estimated using relationship data between travel speed variation and fluid resistance variation and one portion respectively of a ballast when descending and floating material when rising is connected to and separated from the vehicle body itself at a line to thereby control by a separating amount and timing.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 4

    【課題】海中で動力を用いず、機体の重量と機体の浮力との差に基づき、自由降下または自由上昇する海中輸送機を、機体への衝撃力を低減し、計画した水深で停止させることを、省エネ、省設備及び省材料で実現する。【解決手段】停止操作開始から停止までの機体の速度変化を、移動速度の変化と流体抗力の変化との関係データを用いて推定し、降下中はバラストの、上昇中は浮力材の、それぞれ一部を機体本体よりラインで接続して分離し、分離する量とタイミングで制御する。【選択図】図4
