To provide a vehicle door open/close operation device that is high in operation reliability.SOLUTION: A door opening operation device, which is fixed in a door of a vehicle for unlatching a door latch device 1 in an unlocked state, is configured to include: a latch releasing operation portion 4 which is provided at a position in a door that can be operated through an opening formed in an outer panel of the door and which is capable of unlatching the door latch device 1; a cover body 5 which is movable in the door freely from a closed position for closing the opening to an open position for opening the opening; and a cover drive electric actuator 6 for driving the cover body 5 from the closed position to the open position on condition that authentication is established with respect to the use authority of a user.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 7
