To provide a leaf spring for a railroad vehicle truck which has high strength against torsional weight, while having superior strength against vertical weight as a basic characteristic; the leaf spring for railroad vehicle truck which has a core layer sandwiched between upper and lower layers both made from FRP is protected from deterioration of characteristic and shortening of life as a leaf spring caused by cracking in the core layer.SOLUTION: A leaf spring comprises at least a longitudinal FRP structure which has plural main UD sheets, in which continuous fibers are oriented in the longitudinal direction of the leaf spring as a single orient direction and at least a subordinate UD sheet, in which continuous fibers are oriented in a direction inclined equal to or more than 5 degrees and equal to or less than 10 degrees toward the width direction of the leaf spring from the longitudinal direction of the leaf spring as a single orient direction and the subordinate UD sheet is laminated in the thickness direction of the leaf spring to be attached to the main UD sheets laminations, in which a subscribed number of the main UD sheets are vertically laminated.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 1
