To provide a film capacitor capable of suppressing decrease in electrostatic capacitance even after a self-healing phenomenon has occurred.SOLUTION: A film capacitor includes an electrode film disposed on a principal surface of a dielectric film, the dielectric film containing organic resin and an organic component having higher volatility than the organic resin. The organic resin is preferably any one of cyclic olefin-based resin, polyarylate resin, polyphenylene ether resin, and polyetherimide resin. The organic component is preferably at least one selected from a group consisting of cyclohexane, ethylcyclohexane, toluene, xylene, chloroform, and tetrahydrofuran.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 1

    【課題】自己回復現象が発生した後においても、静電容量の低下を抑えることのできるフィルムコンデンサを提供する。【解決手段】誘電体フィルムの主面に電極膜を備えたフィルムコンデンサであって、誘電体フィルムが有機樹脂と該有機樹脂よりも揮発性の高い有機成分とを含んでいる。なお、有機樹脂としては環状オレフィン系樹脂、ポリアリレート樹脂、ポリフェニレンエーテル樹脂およびポリエーテルイミド樹脂のいずれかが好ましく、有機成分としては、シクロヘキサン、エチルシクロヘキサン、トルエン、キシレン、クロロホルムおよびテトラヒドロフランの群から選ばれる少なくとも1種が好ましい。【選択図】図1
