To provide a vehicle battery case which is good in molding processability, has light weight, and further has excellent electromagnetic wave shielding property.SOLUTION: A vehicle battery case including a metallic battery receiving portion having a bottom portion on which a battery is placed and a wall portion surrounding the bottom portion and a battery cover covering the battery receiving portion, and the battery cover is a laminate in which a resin layer and a metal layer are laminated and includes a ceiling portion covering the battery receiving portion and a cover wall surrounding the periphery of the ceiling portion, and the metal layer of the battery cover is fastened so as to directly or indirectly contact the battery receiving portion.
