PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an elevator radio communication system enabling continuous operation of an elevator system by determining failure of a radio relay device in a hoistway.SOLUTION: An elevator radio communication system includes: a plurality of radio relay devices 60 provided in a traveling direction of a car 20 of an elevator and receiving signals; and a control section 30 that includes signal determination means for determining presence/absence or intensity of the signals received by the plurality of radio relay devices 60, failure determination means for determining that failure has occurred in at least either of the plurality of radio relay devices 60 on the basis of a determination result obtained by the determination means and reception region control means for when the failure determination means determines that one of the plurality of radio relay devices 60 has broken, expanding a reception region of the radio relay device 60 next to the radio relay device 60 determined to be broken.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 5
