PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To restrain increase of external size and weight by eliminating the need for change in the wire diameter of a wire harness, when changing the specification of the current of alternator, and the like.SOLUTION: A current cutoff device body 10 mounting a first current cutoff circuit for blocking overcurrent by a fusible link, and an additional circuit board 30 mounting second current cutoff circuits 33a, 33b for blocking overcurrent by a semiconductor switch device are combined, and they are configured removably. Respective connections of the additional circuit board 30 are connected to the board connection terminals 10c, 10d of the current cutoff device body 10. In the case of specification change where the current of the alternator increases, rating of the fusible link is not changed but the change is dealt with mounting of the additional circuit board 30. Since the specification of the fusible link does not change, it is not required to increase the wire diameter of the wire harness. Enlargement of the whole device can be restrained by combination of the current cutoff device body 10 and the additional circuit board 30.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 1

    【課題】オルタネータ等の電流の仕様を変更する場合に、ワイヤハーネスの電線径の変更を不要にして外形サイズや重量の増大を抑制すること。【解決手段】ヒュージブルリンクにより過電流を遮断する第1の電流遮断回路を搭載した電流遮断装置本体10と、半導体スイッチデバイスにより過電流を遮断する第2の電流遮断回路33a、33bを搭載した付加回路基板30とを組み合わせ、これらを着脱自在に構成する。電流遮断装置本体10の基板接続端子10c、10dに付加回路基板30の各接続部を接続する。オルタネータの電流が増える仕様変更の場合に、ヒュージブルリンクの定格は変更せず付加回路基板30の装着により対応する。ヒュージブルリンクの仕様が変わらないのでワイヤハーネスの電線径を増やす必要がなくなる。電流遮断装置本体10と付加回路基板30の組み合わせにより装置全体の肥大化を抑制できる。【選択図】図1
