PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To further accurately detect a rail track of a railway.SOLUTION: This track identification device has an index derivation part, an initial search part, a secondary search part and a rail track derivation part. The index derivation part derives an index indicating the identity of a railway at each pixel of an image or at each pixel group. The initial search part extracts a plurality of line components for connecting an arbitrary one point of an initial area at an upper end in the image and an arbitrary one point at a lower end, and selects one of the line components which is larger than the other line component in an evaluation value of the index on the line component. The secondary search part selects the line component larger than the other line component in the evaluation value of the index out of the line components included in a search region which expands toward an upper part of the image with a position of the selected line component as a first reference position, and repeatedly sets an upper end of the selected line component as a succeeding reference position. The rail track derivation part derives the rail track of the railway on the basis of processing results of the initial search part and the secondary search part.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 2
【課題】より精度よく鉄道の線路を検出することができる。【解決手段】実施形態の軌道識別装置は、指標導出部と初期探索部と二次探索部と線路導出部とを持つ。指標導出部は、画像の画素または画素群ごとに鉄道の線路らしさを示す指標を導出する。初期探索部は、画像において初期エリアの上端の任意の一箇所と下端の任意の一箇所を結ぶ複数の線分を抽出し、線分上における指標の評価値が他の線分よりも大きい線分を一つ選択する。二次探索部は、選択された線分の上端の位置を最初の基準位置として、画像の上方に向かって拡がる探索領域に含まれる線分の中で指標の評価値が他の線分よりも大きい線分を選択し、選択した線分の上端を次の基準位置とすることを繰り返し実行する。線路導出部は、前記初期探索部、および前記二次探索部による処理結果に基づいて、鉄道の線路を導出する。【選択図】図2
