PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a drive support device capable of more suitably controlling an embodiment of warning processing.SOLUTION: A drive support ECU1 sequentially calculates risk levels each representing a degree of risk of collision between an own vehicle and another object, and performs warning processing in an aspect in accordance with each risk level. Also, the drive support acquires travel environment information including gradient of a road on which the own vehicle travels on the basis of information provided by a locator 5 or the like, and determines whether or not the road on which the own vehicle travels is within a prescribed habitual deceleration section such as a downhill. When a driver performs deceleration operation at a point not within the habitual deceleration section during warning processing, warning intensity of the warning processing is alleviated or the warning processing is suspended by correcting the risk level to a lower level. On the other hand, when a position where the driver performs deceleration operation is within the habitual deceleration section, no correction for reducing the risk level is performed or an amount of reduction is set at a relatively smaller value.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 1

    【課題】警告処理の実施態様をより適切に制御可能な運転支援装置を提供する。【解決手段】運転支援ECU1は、自車両と他の物体との衝突のリスクの高さを示すリスクレベルを逐次算出し、リスクレベルに応じた態様で警告処理を実施する。また、ロケータ5等から提供される情報に基づいて、自車両が走行している道路の勾配等を含む走行環境情報を取得し、現在走行している道路が下り坂等の所定の習慣的減速区間であるか否かを判定する。そして、警告処理実施中、習慣的減速区間以外の地点でドライバが減速操作を実施した場合には、リスクレベルを相対的に小さいレベルへと補正することで、警告処理の警告強度を弱めたり警告処理を停止したりする。一方、ドライバが減速操作を実施した位置が習慣的減速区間に該当する場合には、リスクレベルを低減する補正を実施しない、又は、低減量を相対的に小さい値に設定する。【選択図】図1
