PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a long-service life vessel such as a marine vessel that is capable of limiting each of a required work period, required cost, and an impact on a spherical section to a minimum during replacement of equipment, and a vessel manufacturing method.SOLUTION: The vessel on which equipment corresponding to prescribed attributes is mounted is provided with an equipment unit replacement section that enables an equipment unit corresponding to a first attribute to be replaced by an equipment unit corresponding to a second attribute when the first attribute applied during construction is changed to the second attribute applied during future remodeling.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 1
