PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To enhance reliability of a vehicular power supply device.SOLUTION: A vehicular power supply device includes: a starter generator 16 coupled to an engine; a lead-acid battery 31 connected to the starter generator 16; a lithium-ion battery 32 connected to the starter generator 16 in parallel with the lead-acid battery 31; a switch SW1 switched between a conduction state where the starter generator 16 and the lead-acid battery 31 are connected with each other and a shut-off state where these batteries are separated from each other; a switch SW2 switched between a conduction state where the starter generator 16 and the lithium-ion battery 32 are connected with each other and a shut-off state where these batteries are separated from each other; a switch control section 71 for controlling the switch SW1 and the switch SW2; and a battery determination section 72 for determining whether an abnormal state where the lead-acid battery 31 cannot normally discharge occurs. The switch control section 71 controls the switch SW1 and the switch SW2 to the conduction state when the lead-acid battery 31 is determined to be in an abnormal state.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 7
