PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a touch type operation apparatus, a method of operating the same, and an operation program making it possible to recognize a sensitive area responsive to a touch operation without using visual sense in a specific operation state, thereby preventing erroneous operations.SOLUTION: A touch pad 22 provided for a touch type operation apparatus includes a hemispherical portion 22A and a flat portion 22B, and is mounted on an automobile. The hemispherical part 22A is a convex region in which at least a part of a boundary with an adjacent region is defined by a step, and a front half 22C is set in a second region. A rear half portion 22D and the flat portion 22B are set in a first region. During the manual operation of the automobile, the first region is set as a dead region and the second region is set as a sensitive region.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 14

    【課題】特定の動作状態において、視覚を用いずに、タッチ操作に感応する感応領域を認識できるようにして、誤操作を防止できるタッチ式操作装置、その作動方法及び作動プログラムを提供する。【解決手段】タッチ式操作装置を構成するタッチパッド22は、半球部22Aと平面部22Bとを備えており、自動車に搭載される。半球部22Aは、隣接する領域との境界の少なくとも一部が段差で画定される凸型領域であり、前半部22Cが第2領域に設定される。後半部22Dおよび平面部22Bは第1領域に設定される。自動車の手動運転中は、第1領域が不感領域に設定され、かつ、第2領域が感応領域に設定される。【選択図】図14
