To reduce a contact sound accompanied by the contact of a cage with rollers and a bearing ring, in a self-aligning roller bearing.SOLUTION: This self-aligning roller bearing 10 has a cage 14 having a single annular part 14a which is located between rows of rollers 13, and a plurality of column parts 14b extending from the annular part 14a toward the rows of the rollers 13, and aligned in parallel with one another in a peripheral direction of the annular part 14a. The cage 14 is rotationally guided by the rollers 13 which are held between the column parts 14b which adjoin each other in the peripheral direction. Since the cage 14 is made to serve as a rolling body guide, the cage 14 does not contact with a part other than the rollers 13, and a contact sound is further reduced. Since the cage 14 is formed into a single piece, the contact sound is reduced by an amount of the non-contact of cages compared with the case that the two cages for holding the rollers 13 in the rows are used.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 1

    【課題】自動調心ころ軸受について、保持器がころや軌道輪に接触することに伴う接触音の低減を図る。【解決手段】発明にかかる自動調心ころ軸受10は、その保持器14が、ころ13の列の間に位置する単一の環状部14aと、ころ13の各列に向けて環状部14aから延び環状部14aの周方向に並列する複数の柱部14bを有する。保持器14は、周方向に隣接する柱部14b間に保持されるころ13により回転案内される。保持器14を転動体案内としたことで、保持器14がころ13以外の部品と接触することがなく、接触音がさらに低減する。保持器14を単一のものとしたことにより、各列のころ13をそれぞれ保持する二つの保持器を用いるのと比べて保持器同士の接触がない分、接触音が低減する。【選択図】図1
