To provide an interlock mechanism which enables a flexible design of a layout and which can rapidly and stably interlock two members together.SOLUTION: An interlock member 70 comprises a plurality of gears 71a and 71b for connecting first and second members 10 and 20 together, and a deformation transmission member for connecting the gears 71a and 71b together and flexibly and non-linearly deforming them. The first and second members 10 and 20 are relatively lifted and lowered, and the plurality of gears 71a and 71b are interlocked together via the deformation transmission member that is twisted and compressed in this movement direction.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 16
