PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To suppress a sense of discomfort at the time of shifting while suppressing an increase in power electronics temperature.SOLUTION: A vehicle includes: a drive motor for transmitting torque to wheels; and a motor controller which, at a predetermined moment for performing a pseudo shift change, executes torque variation control for allowing the torque of the drive motor to be decreased by a set amount of variation and then increased, in a first predetermined time period X (a predetermined time period). By the torque variation control, a sense of discomfort given to a driver who is accustomed to a vehicle including a stepped transmission is suppressed, and an increase in power electronics temperature is suppressed due to a decrease in torque.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 3
