PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an opening/closing body driving device capable of suppressing a displacement of a mask section with respect to a weather strip.SOLUTION: A control part recognizes a motor rotation restraining position as a reference position Ps when motor rotation is restrained during a closing operation, and executes pinching detection processing in a pinching detection processing section A2 except a mask section A1 with a predetermined length on its opening-direction side from the reference position Ps. The control part stores an initial reference position Pi that is the reference position Ps in initial setting, and corrects the length of the mask section A1 so as to calculate differences Y between the motor rotation restraining position (the reference position Ps after updating) and the initial reference position Pi when the motor rotation is restrained during the closing operation and cancel the differences Y.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 4

    【課題】ウェザーストリップに対するマスク区間のずれを抑制できる開閉体駆動装置を提供する。【解決手段】制御部は、閉作動時にモータの回転が拘束されたとき、その拘束位置を基準位置Psとして認識し、該基準位置Psからその開方向側に所定長さを有するマスク区間A1を除く挟み込み検出処理区間A2で挟み込み検出処理を実行する。そして、制御部は、初期設定時の基準位置Psである初期基準位置Piを記憶しており、閉作動時にモータの回転が拘束されたときに、その拘束位置(更新後の基準位置Ps)と初期基準位置Piとの差分Yを算出してその差分Yを相殺すべくマスク区間A1の長さを補正する。【選択図】図4
