PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a current collecting device that can extend a life of a current collecting shoe while suppressing jumping-up of the current collecting shoe relative to a power supply rail.SOLUTION: A current collecting device 1 includes: a current collecting shoe 9; an elastic part 6; and a damper part 16. The current collecting shoe has a slide contact surface 12 that is installed so as to be displaceable in one direction and the other direction on an opposite side to the one direction. The elastic part urges the slide contact part of the current collecting shoe toward the one direction. The damper part imparts resistance to at least a movement in the other direction at the slide contact surface of the current collecting shoe.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 3
