PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a rope vibration suppressing unit that is configured so that even if a rope vibrates obliquely with respect to an anti-vibration bar it is harder to diminish vibration suppression effect thereof than a conventional rope vibration suppression unit.SOLUTION: The rope vibration suppressing unit comprises an anti-vibration bar 102, and an actuator 108, installed outside elevation passages for an elevator car 26 and a balance weight 28, which turns the anti-vibration bar 102. The anti-vibration bar 102 is turned by the actuator 108 to be switched between a standby state where the bar stands and an operation state where the bar lies down beside a target rope part 24A as an anti-vibration target. The anti-vibration bar 102 is formed in a sine wave shape in which a surface at a side on which the target rope part 24A exists in the operation state has an uneven shape continuous in a length direction.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 4

    【課題】振れ止めバーに対しロープが斜めに振れた場合であっても、従来のロープ振れ抑制ユニットよりも振れ抑制効果が減殺されにくいロープ振れ抑制ユニットを提供する。【解決手段】振れ止めバー102と、かご26および釣合おもり28の昇降経路外に設置され、振れ止めバー102を回動するアクチュエータ108とを有し、振れ止めバー102は、アクチュエータ108で回動されて、起立した待機状態と振れ止め対象となる対象ロープ部分24Aの側方に横たわる作動状態とに切り換えられ、振れ止めバー102は、前記作動状態において対象ロープ部分24Aが存する側の表面が長さ方向に連続する凹凸形状である正弦波形状に形成されている構成とした。【選択図】図4
