PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To inhibit a voltage output from a battery of a power supply source for an electric heater from exceeding an upper limit value, thereby protecting the battery.SOLUTION: A battery temperature adjustment device 1 comprises: an electric blower fan 10 that introduces air to a travel drive battery 2 mounted in a vehicle; a PTC heater 11 that is actuated by its being supplied with power by the travel drive battery 2 and heats the air introduced to the travel drive battery 2 by an electric blower fan 10; and a control unit 13 that controls actuating of the PTC heater 11 and electric blower fan 10; The battery temperature adjustment device has a temperature sensor 12 that detects a temperature of a battery cell of the travel drive battery 2. A power supply source for the electric blower fan 10 is a battery 16 for an auxiliary machine. The control unit 13 variably controls a rotational speed of the electric blower fan 10 on the basis of the temperature of the travel drive battery 2.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 1
